Creating a New Tournament or League

Organizer accounts

In order to access the Admin Dashboard, you’ll need an Organizer account.

New Tournaments & Leagues

You can create new tournaments and leagues from the Admin Dashboard by going to https://stadiumcompete.com/admin or clicking “Admin” from the main navigation.

Click “New Tournament” or “New League.” The system should automatically redirect you to the newly created entity. Congratulations, you’ve created your first competition on Stadium!

Customization Options

Name

The title of your tournament.
Description (coming soon)

A longer description of your tournament. This will be visible on your tournament home page.
Always Show Player List

If checked, anyone can see who’s registered for your tournament at any time. If unchecked, the player list will be hidden until 24 hours before the tournament begins. This option is unchecked by default.
Make Registration Private

If checked, players will not be able to register themselves online for your tournament. If checked, players will be able to register themselves online.
Tournament Dates
- Start Date
  - The day your tournament begins.
- End Date
  - The day your tournament ends. You can leave this blank for one-day tournaments.
- Rating Cutoff Date
  - The latest available rating data that will be used for your tournament. This is the cutoff date that will be used when clicking the Sync button from your Players tab to update their latest ratings.
- Timezone
  - The timezone your tournament will be played in. All dates and times will be shown in the tournament’s local timezone to prevent confusion.
Player Fee
- A flat fee charged to each player who enters your tournament. (Note: This is additional to the per-event fees, which you can configure in each Event’s settings.)
Save as Draft
- Save this tournament so that it is visible only from your admin dashboard.
Save & Publish
- Save this tournament so that it is publicly visible.
