Events are a flexible structural element within a Tournament or League. They can represent categories, divisions, time blocks — you can use them however you want. You must have a Tournament or League set up before you can create Events.

An Event is a structural unit within your Tournament or League. Players can be registered for a specific set of Events, and all scoring and results are tracked separately per Event.
Organizers use Events in a variety of ways, including:

There are also non-structural reasons you may want to use an Event. Events have a few unique properties that set them apart from Draws:
Player registration. Players register for Events, not Draws. A player can be registered for one or more Events within a Tournament or League.
Entry restrictions. You can also restrict* who is eligible to enter a specific Event.
*Admins can view eligibility status by player and override these restrictions if needed.
Entry fee. Each Event can have its own entry fee, allowing you to price different categories or sessions independently.
Start date & time. Each Event can have its own scheduled start date and time.
